Perhaps you will have the chance to meet monkeys along the way. The nature here is very green, a marked contrast with the northern Sahel of the country. You will be able to enjoy Sine-Saloum which offers you all its splendor here with landscapes of a great variety: thick forests, mangroves and other bolongs. Picnic on the edge of the village of Missirah then visit the "millenary cheese maker", one of the largest specimens of this tree in the whole country! You are visiting this village of a hundred souls in which three different ethnic groups live! Picnic lunch on the beach followed by a half-hour hike through the Bamboug Protected Marine Area. This MPA was born out of an alliance between a village association and the Senegalese authorities, which are dictated by the protection of the marine resources of the Saloum Delta. The road that leads to Palmarin, with all its contrasts, is one of all the wonders: vastness of bare land eaten away by sand, forests, lagoons flown over by thousands of birds (mainly pelicans), small traditional Serer villages ... season, a stopover in the small town of Samba Dia will allow you to buy excellent mangoes! As soon as you start to feel the fresh sea breeze, it is that you arrive at Palmarin.
